The Lake County Board of County Commissioners held a Public Hearing for the Hooks Street Alternative Corridor Evaluation on April 13, 2021 (as part of the regularly scheduled Board meeting) in the Lake County Administration Building, Board Chambers (2nd floor), located at 315 W. Main Street, Tavares, Florida 32778. Prior to the Public Hearing, Study information was displayed in the Building's rotunda. Five individuals signed in for this Study. Comment forms and speaker cards were provided to attendees. The Board meeting began at 9:00 a.m., with the Hooks Street Alternative Corridor Evaluation Public Hearing beginning after this time. The Public Hearing began with a Study presentation, followed by oral statements from four speakers. After the Board discussion, the Board voted 3-2 to approve the Recommended Build Alternative Alignment and the “Hybrid” Alternative Typical Section.
